Rick Lyke Visits River Rat Brew Trail

Pints for Prostates founder Rick Lyke will be attending a meeting today, Wednesday November 30, at Old Forge Brewing Company in Danville to thank Service 1st Federal Credit Union and the River Rat Brew Trail. Lyke will be meeting with representatives from the brew trail to thank them for their efforts in raising awareness about prostate cancer throughout November.

Pints for Prostates is an organization that raises awareness among men about the importance of regular health screenings and early detection by making appearances at beer events, social networking and pro bono advertising. Since 2008, Lyke, a prostate cancer survivor and beer writer, has used the universal language of beer to reach men with this important health message.
